Donna Lee has entertained and taught voice for over 30 years.
She has a smooth and versatile voice with a wide vocal range.
She sings a variety of styles from Country to Easy Listening and 60’s Pop, to Jazz Standards and Showtunes: singings songs from Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, Ella Fitzgerald, Abba, Patsy Cline, Julie Andrews, Elvis, etc. Her CD “Spirit of Love” combines some well-known songs like “Let It Be” along with six of her own compositions all presented in a gentle, soothing style.
It all began at the age of nine during her first public performance when Donna Lee claimed second prize in a singing contest and it was then her desire to entertain was born. At age thirteen she taught herself to play the guitar and wrote her first song. By age 14 she was a music minister in her church. She also formed a folk Group called “Musicale” At the age of 18 she was singing in dance bands. Later in life, Donna Lee worked in nursing homes as the “music lady” providing Music Therapy. These days, she continues to entertain, as well as teach private singing lessons.
Whether she’s on stage or in the privacy of her music studio, Donna Lee’s passion lies in helping people “connect to and express the life and voice within.”
